Kathryn Grigg is a divorce and family law attorney in Madison and a partner in Axley. Ms. Grigg concentrates her practice in divorce, legal separation, child custody and placement, child support, maintenance (alimony), property division, paternity, relocation, and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Ms. Grigg is skilled in helping clients protect their business interests and minimize exposure for paying support. She has extensive experience representing self-employed clients and analyzing complex assets and income structures. Ms. Grigg’s approach blends empathy with client education. She believes that clients who understand the legal process and the laws are in a better position to shape the outcome and attain favorable results.
Ms. Grigg is also certified in the Collaborative Divorce process and is a member of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin.
She was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, an honor bestowed on only 2.5% of attorneys statewide. She was also named an Up and Coming Lawyer by the Wisconsin Law Journal in 2014.
