Profile
I have over 25 years’ experience as a mental health professional helping facilitate change for couples and families. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I am specifically trained and licensed to evaluate and address a wide array of mental health difficulties and relationship problems within the context of the family system. I am on faculty at the Family Therapy Training Institute in Milwaukee where I teach and supervise people training to be licensed marriage and family therapists.
I help parents going through divorce to communicate, resolve issues and create a healthy co-parenting plan addressing placement and related child adjustment concerns. I help couples make workable child-focused agreements that put children’s needs first with the aim of creating a less stressful, healthy, two-home family for children.
I enjoy working on Collaborative Teams in the following roles:
- Facilitator
- Child Specialist
- Divorce Coach
In these roles I am not providing therapy, but I do bring my expertise in child development, family system dynamics, communication, managing conflict, family mediation and facilitating change, especially when things feel stuck.
I serve families in the Greater Milwaukee Area, and throughout Wisconsin via Zoom video conferencing.
