Ashley J. Richter is a founding partner of the Madison law firm Richter & Phillips, LLP. She earned her degree in sociology from the University of Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude, and her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, graduating cum laude, with a focus in family law. Her practice areas include family law, estate planning, litigation and professional licensure matters. Ashley is a former president of the Legal Association of Women, and is also involved with the Dane County Bar Case Mediation Program Committee; the Dane County Family Law Assistance Center; the James E. Doyle Inns of Court; and the state high school mock trial program, which she has helped write and judge since 2010. In her free time, Ashley enjoys quilting, boating, fishing, and camping with her family and two dogs.
